Hard to believe Roger Moore was pushing 50 in this.

He looks, at least, ten years younger.

reply

Indeed. Hard believe he was 46 when Live and Let die came out. He looked 36.

reply

It was in "For Your Eyes Only" that he looked like he was getting on in years. And yet, even then, he still looked pretty good.

reply

He was starting to age in Moonraker ,but still looked good. FYEO he was much older and it should have been his last.

reply

Agreed.

reply

Enjoy it while it lasts....in the next Bond, he's still Ok, but starting with For your eyes only, his age started to show.

reply

He definitely had great genes, he lived until he was 90 which is really very rare for men.

Posted this on another thread but its relevant here:
Roger always looked a good decade younger than he actually was. (in LATD/MWTGG/SWLM he didn't look that different to how he did in The Saint.. MR he began to look more his age but still younger than he was at 50.. then FYEO/O/AVTAK he looked like the mature Moore we all love to lol at) Whereas Connery always looked about a decade older than he was and very authoritive looking (which later became useful for mentor roles like Highlander, Untouchables and Indiana Jones.. with Never Say Never he said in an interview they toyed with a different look no wig, moustache etc before they went back to his 60s Bond look but matured)
