Things We Learned from watching this TV Movie ... ( WITH SPOILERS )

1. Most everyone in this movie were
over exaggerating Rita being " so fat ? "  .

2. Rita was totally misunderstood by all her knew of her -
except her Mom she got what Rita truly was   .

3. That in the beginning it was completely unfair for Rita's peers to have been so mean to her for no reason - even her own sister and father wouldn't defend her and her father always excluding Rita from family outings   .

4. The Gym Teacher ( even though the same as Rita )
was not a helpful guide for
Rita with her special powers -
instead she was poisoning Rita's young mind
only to advance her own cause  .

5. Rita's father played favorites way too much
acting like Chris was his only daughter and never did anything wrong
and treated Rita just like a bad seed child in his home   .

6. This was an excellent TV Movie for 1977 -
very creepy & effective   .

7. Rita made needlepoint look very relaxing   .

8. That the family kitchen looked like it saw more messes than
an actual well put together dinner for the family   .

haha--he-he--ho-hooo! just got to see most of it tonite on Comet and i'd say you are spot on! 😁

entertaining enough movie for the times - and gearing up for that halloween time-'o-year 

I agree sumankey13 this does seem like an appropriate Classic TV Movie for
this Halloween season and has a great creepy fun storyline too 
( IMPO - I find this one to be right up there with " Trilogy of Terror " from 1975
but ToT is still my first favorite for creepy TV Movies    ) .

I also discovered this movie ( The Spell ) on the COMET Channel a few weeks ago   .

It's also on COMET again Thursday October 20th at 10AM  .
So if you missed some of it you may be able to catch it again
( or if you have a DVR set it up to watch later then you won't miss it   ) .
