I love this film? Where the heck is the dvd?

Alright, it will never earn any Oscars, but I loved this film from when I first saw it as a kid, years ago. The soundtrack was cool, Joe Don Baker was very funny (did he mean to be?) and the cars were great. I lost track of the film for ages until I got a copy on eBay. But when is it coming on out on dvd???

Hi there !

I would like to know if this film contains the following sequences:

- a car chase involving a police car which ends with the police car hitting a wall and splitting in two. The police officers inside, then slowly and calmly get out of the broken car

If this is the case, I would have find the movie I've been looking for years !

Nothing yet,all these years later.I dont think it was a very successful film,so,of course no studio would risk offering a DVD if it flopped.

I too would love to see an official DVD release of this hugely enjoyable 70's drive-in car chase hoot. It's a great deal of fun, with an excellent cast, several exciting car chases, a groovy soundtrack and a good, snappy pace.

I found this on VHS for 75 cents, and it was money well spent. Joe Don Baker makes any film worthwhile, Tyne Daly is excellent as his counterpart, and the chase scenes were very well filmed. 7/10 stars from me.
