I recently watched La Soufriere on VHS; the audio was horrible, as one could barely make out Herzog's narration. Can anyone tell me whether this problem is fixed on the DVD version?

The narration is quite clear on the New Yorker DVD release. (The disc also contains the shorts Ecstasy of Sculptor Steiner and How Much Wood Would A Woodchuck Chuck...)

bixx is right the audio is intelligible... but it's not great.

Anyone know where to get English subtitle file for La Soufrière? I've searched everywhere on the web with no luck.
