Sylvia Sidney

It's nice to see her playing a truly nice character, not at all crotchety like in other roles she was cast in, just worried about the bad publicity which is why she looks over at concern with Robert Logan when he's talking with Bo Swenson. Understandable and human. Her character in "Summer Wishes, Summer Dreams" (for which she received her only Oscar nomination) was quite similar. 20 years later, ultra lovable as the grandmother who helps save the world in "Mars Attacks!". Come to think of it, in the later part of her career, she did a lot of horror/sci-fi films as opposed to the soap opera/social issue dramas of her starring role days.
