One tight lil' movie

This movie was so low budget they had to use mock-up firearms with detonaters, also due in part that the authorities of the day wouldn't let them use real guns with blanks. Even the scene with the Shyhawks firing missiles were from a news clip. At the time we never realised that Sam Neill and Roger Donaldson would go onto the world stage.

The Skyhawk scenes were filmed by Roger Donaldson. No news clips there.

NZ had very lenient firearms regulation in those days.
