shareMovie is not based on the flyers , it’s based on the east coast hockey league and many of the extras in the movie and the Hanson brothers were players in that league.
The Charlestown Chiefs are really the Johnstown Jets .
The writer Nancy Dowd wrote the movie because her Brother was a player in the league and told her all the stories from the team.
