Brad Sullivan (Moe) didn't like how he was portrayed?

I just read the trivia for slap shot and i see the guy who played moe was saddened by how he was portrayed.

what the hell did he think he was playing!?

he was no altar boy in this

Quotes:

"...I *beep* the bar maid! she rubs up against me, nipples as hard as little rocks"
"i don't like how they cover the jugs all up with the feathers...they should cut the custumes a little higher in the thigh so you can see more ass"

i forget the quote but on television he called a woman a *beep*

"call a massage parlour"
"here's to all that georgous snatch in FLA"
"i want some snatch by the pool"

he always sticks his tongue out inplying cunnilingus...he picks a woman up over his shoulders with his tongue out

so he knew the things he was saying and doing, how did he think he would be portrayed?...he was shown as the characted needed, a mysoginst sleaze.

I don't know. Maybe he turned religious later in life, after he made the movie?

Pray for an early spring ... or permission to open fire.

Maybe he went senile...

It's possible that his character had a larger role in a rough cut that was then edited down to just the lines that we know now. If you're an actor and you work to create a character only to later see it whittled down and simplified, I could see how that might be disappointing.

At least what survives of him, at least to me, is very funny.

It was this, although he had misgivings even as he was playing the role of Wanchuk. Sullivan was deeply religious and was very reluctant to play such a character. Fortunately for all of us who enjoy the movie, he was able to go through with it
