What's Racist?

When I came to the IMDB page for this movie, I noticed in the "Plot Keywords" section the terms "Racist Comment" and "Racial Comment".

What was the Racist Comment? I don't remember. I own a copy of the movie and had watched it many times, but don't remember a Racist Comment.

Are they trying to say that the Film itself is Racist? I don't see how, as all of the characters and countries are fictional. Sinbad is supposed to be Arabian, but Sinbad's Arabia is clearly different than "Real World" Arabia. It's a mixture of races and people. A Fantastic World that has never existed.

Someone elaborate please?

I didn't even think about the scene where the black sailor helps someone off their horse by getting down on all fours and being used as a step stool.

But just that one scene makes the entire movie racist? Some people are just stupid.

Thanks for pointing it out, because I don't think I would have ever caught on. I guess I'm just not on the lookout for that stuff.

Whoa! I'll have to see this all the way through again to spot that scene. Then again, being a black man myself, I do make some allowances that this is taking place in very ancient times. Not a very liberal period.

When someone says 'I've never seen a black man turn white' after they fought the giant walrus.

That's regarded as racist? Christ... talk about Generation Snowflake.
