Still the best fight scene I've ever seen!

I have seen quite a few martial arts flicks in my day, but to be honest, the last 25 minutes of this film is SUPERB! I have not seen another fight scene that satisfied me as much as this one did!
Don't judge the whole film , or view it as a Bruce Lee rip-off, just fast forward it to this end fight!! You cannot fail to be disappointed!

I definately second that.But actually,i enjoyed the whole thing.But yeah,i
remember first seein this flick way the heck back in 1988 and i was really
entertained and stunned by the marvelously choreographed kung fu realism intricacy displayed by chin ku and bobby lo.i also got a huge kick out of lewis with his pet lions and i thought his pet birds were cool as heck the way
they immedietely responded to his whistle bird call. Also, that bald shaolin dude
chiming in on the final showdown fight was quite humorous as well.

Utterly agree.

The first part of the movie is irritating, as you see how they blatantly attached tiny (few seconds each) sequences with Bruce Lee to the rest of the movie. When his character dies, it's a relief that makes you say "aah... finally we can watch the movie".

But the rest of the movie isn't terrible at all. Some artwork is obscenely awful (the prostitute trap with the fake lion, the fighter in leopard dress), but the coreography of the last long fight - meaning the dynamics and the actual kung fu moves by the actors - is really really good!

Agree too! =)

Such a great Kung-Fu movie. The end scene is one of the best out there. And I like the way with the guy fighting like a lion... he he he, eating dear-meat and drinking dear blood for breakfast. FTW!

The fight scenes were crazy nice!
Roy Horan aka Lewis was wasted, wish he had proper fight scenes!!!

lol @ Bobby Lo vs the man with the leopard skin attire!!!

Bullshyt MR han-man!!

Hahahah! When Bobby hits that ridiculous guy and broke the box, he kicks his face for real! This movie ROCKS.

From what I gather Sammo Hung had a heavy unofficial hand in the film which is no surprise as he directed the fights for the first Game of Death.

But I agree, it's a great Kung-fu film. It's even quite near the top of the pile for me regarding fight scenes as the quality of the choreography is better than just about 90% of the other kung-fu films of that era.

It's such a shame that people avoid it due to the fact it's a Bruce Lee cash in.

Perhaps someone one day will re-edit it to make it it's own film. I'm sure the Bruce Lee scenes could be replaced with similar ones from another lower profile film.
