Was Donna Pescow Nominated For an Oscar For Her Performance?

I mentioned in another post that I liked her much better than Stephanie (at least looks-wise). But I thought Donna Pescow's acting in this movie was INCREDIBLE. She should have gotten an Academy Award on her facial expressions alone.

No, she wasn't but she should have been. She was fantastic in the movie and much better than some of that year's nominees.

Absolutely agree, bryanac625. She was a better dancer, a better actress, better looking and in fact a far more interesting character. In some respects for me she stole the movie.
