Anyone ever actually visit 2001 Odyssey/Spectrum

in Brooklyn before it closed in 2005? Was the lighted plexiglas dance floor constructed for SNF still there in use? Still kick myself for not going there while I was in New York.

actually I moved back to the NYC area in 2003- and visiting there was on my list of things to do - and I never made it there.

I've been there. Having been born after this movie was released, by the time I was old enough to go, it was called Spectrum and it was a gay club. I went with some friends shortly before the club closed its doors (it is no longer there). Even though I was born and raised in Brooklyn, it was my one and only time there. I danced on that lit-up dance floor...they closed shortly after. I was glad I was there at least that one time.
