Why did Ruby tear that guys eyes out?

And what happened to Stuart Whitman ' s chatacter? Wasn't everyone involved in Nikki ' s murder supposed to die?

I like the ending where Ruby gets pulled under. Like one reviewer said, she finally got her reunion but it wasn't what she expected. It was a horror movie; of course something bad was supposed to happen to her.
