One of the best movies - ever!

The great storytelling overshadows the terrible production values. How about a big budget no BS remake? Or, at least a remaster on DVD.

I agree with your comments regarding a remake.

I think it's a great story but a very ordinary film, albeit with some good moments.

The lack of location photography is very apparent and limiting and most of the hi-jackers themselves, just remain armed ciphers.

This film was excellent, but production values were mid-70's television value. There is so much Jew-hatred even among the Hollywood elite (who are Jewish themselves) I doubt today's short attention spans, and apologetic attitudes would yield a better version of the story outside of this 40 year old version. Just my two cents.

That's because it was no more than a TV movie and hardly "excellent". As I recall Hollywood were falling over themselves to produce something about the successful raid ... quickly! Thus this TV movie emerged with as you and I both describe, very TV production values, but a better than average TV movie cast for the period.

Not quite sure how this comment applies to this film.🐭
