Today's episode of 'THE PRICE IS RIGHT' On topic, believe it or not!
The first Showcase today featured one of Barker's Beauties dressed as Raggedy Ann, as Rich Fields narrated a story about what it's like to be Raggedy Ann. Well, Rich's opening statement was "This Showcase celebrates the 90th anniversary of Raggedy Ann". This gets me thinking. If this is the case, then, why isn't this movie available on DVD, but only available on (used) VHS? I mean, think about all the features to throw in: The history of the doll, the stories, a profile of Johnny Gruelle, a profile of Richard Williams, a sing-along feature. It'd be great! I'm not sure which studio owns the rights, but let's wake up out there:-)!
