Yeah. They should get this on DVD. As well as the other feature films, too. But here's what I think they should have on each movie on DVD:

- Film fully restored and remastered
- Fully remastered in 5.1 Surround Sound
- Restored Original Mono Soundtrack
- French and Spanish Language Tracks
- English subtitles

- Theatrical Trailers for movie
- Any Peanuts TV Specials that relate to the feature-length movie.
- TV ads for movie
- Commentaries
- Publicity Gallery (Posters, lobby cards, etc.)
- Behind the scenes with the original cast and crew
- A behind the scenes lok at the restoration
- Before/Restored Split Screen comparisons
- And much more!

So there you have it. I hope Paramount Home Entertainment does what I expect for these Charlie Brown Movies to be on DVD for the very first time.

reply

i hope they do all that too.

i wish that they would release both this and bon voyage charlie brown
as indivdual dvds or they could put all of them together into a box set

reply

I agree with EMG. Good thinking. Now THAT is a proper way to release it on DVD.
Unlike the DVD release for A BOY NAMED CHARLIE BROWN and SNOOPY COME HOME. They are lacking in extras.

This movie should also be released in its original aspect ratio as well.
