Cut versions CED Videodisc, Cartoon Network

There are two scenes cut in this movie about 40 minutes in. When Snoopy is sitting on the rock mourning Woodstock, he broods for a moment then lets out a startlingly long howl. Woodstock, sitting on a pile of twigs next says, HELP! HELP! HELP!

These two scenes were cut from the CED Videodisc release and some TV broadcasts, like Cartoon Network omit these scenes. Hopefully, if they do release this on DVD in the future (when?) it will be the full and complete version.

The cut scenes were included on the UPN Broadcast about 1996. It even had the credits (not squashed or typewritten at the end)!

The uncut version of this film is available on the remastered VHS versions released by Paramount Home Video in the 1990s and 2000s, the latter which I own.

I don't know if I still have my 1995 Paramount Communications Home Video VHS print or if it got soaked and ruined with a lot of my other tapes...

The scenes have been restored to the DVD. I'm not sure why they where cut in the first place; possibly showing both Snoopy and Woodstock being extremely vulnerable. It's actually a great scene and shows how much Snoopy loves woodstock and is worried about him. This is my Favorite Peanuts/Snoopy movie!
