The scene of Snoopy opening the door to the bear scared the heck out of me when I was a kid?! Hilarious how even today I still find it a little creepy.

I agree, that initial shot of it was scary but then Snoopy screaming, and the bear screaming, and Snoopy hiding and shaking from it, was just hysterical!

What was the bear doing knocking on the door? "Hello, it's quite cold outside. May I stay in your warm cabin?"

Good question, maybe he was looking for Snow White and Rose Red.
