Peppermint Patty and Marci were guys???

I'm not frankly surprised that Peppermint Patty is voiced by a guy in this movie. I could tell. In fact, being a little behind on my "Peanuts" facts, I didn't realize right away that she was meant to be a girl. I figured it out pretty quickly when I first saw this movie, but I had no idea beforehand, when I saw certain "Peanuts" specials such as "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving". Plus, Marcie's calling her "sir" all the time totally threw me off. I can believe Patty's voiced by a boy actor here. On the other hand, I never would have guessed that was true of Marcie.

Cartoon characters voiced by people of opposite gender is not anything new. Rocky the Flying Squirrel was voiced by June Foray. Bart Simpson was voiced by Nancy Cartwright. Bobby Hill was voiced by Pamela Adlon...
