Came out same week as Star Wars

I remember I was 7 years old and my dad wanted to take me to some brand new movie he heard was supposed to be amazing and changed everything about how movies were made - but me? I had never heard of Star Wars and wanted him to take me to go see Outlaw Blues because I saw a commercial for it on TV that made me think of Dukes of Hazaard. Hey - what would YOU do? :-)

In the end we went to see Star Wars, and besides being petrified of Darth Vader in his first scene, I was grateful my dad took me to see it instead. I did see Outlaw Blues later, and although they were in two completely different worlds, I enjoyed it too!

Just my little bit of trivia/nostalgia for y'all.
