The title song for this film was "My Fair Share", composed and recorded by Seals and Crofts. The other songs that were strong compositions on this movie soundtrack were "Love Conquers All" and also an instrumental. The entire soundtrack was recorded by Seals and Crofts and I still have the LP buried in my closet somewhere.

Dear pveling,
I beg to differ, since although the title song was indeed "My Fair Share", the song was NOT composed by Seals & Crofts, but rather by Charles Fox and Paul Hamilton Williams). The latter being the same Paul Williams who penned most of the Carpenters' hits. Seals & Crofts indeed recorded this song and enjoyed great success with it. Rather unfortunately, even though Paul Williams is an extremely talented composer (he wrote hits like "Evergreen", "Just An Old Fashioned Love Song", "Phantom Of The Paradise", "Rainy Days & Mondays", "Waking Up Alone", "You And Me Against The World" among many others) he never really made it as a recording artist.

"My Fair Share" is the love theme. The openning title theme is "This Day Belongs to Me". The ending title song is "Love Conquers All".

There were 5 songs in the picture all sung by Seals & Crofts: "This Day Belongs to Me" (Main title), "Love Conquers All" (End Title), "My Fair Share" (Love them and the hit single)-- as well as "John Wayne" & "Hustle". All 5 songs were written by Paul Williams (who won the Oscar for "Evergreen" from "Star Is Born") and Charles Fox (who won the grammy winning "Killing Me Softly With His Song" for Roberta Flack as well as "Ready to Take a Chance Again" for Barry Manilow" and I Got A Name" for Jim Croce". (Coincidentally "I Got A Name" was the theme song from a movie called "Last American Hero" with Jeff Bridges, and was directed by Lamont Johnson who directed "ONE ON ONE". That very year Fox & Williams also wrote the theme for the tv show "The Love Boat" which still runs to this day. "My Fair Share" was the love song from ON ONE ONE and it was a hit single from album.

This is somewhat off-topic but I had heard that song, "Love Conquers All" on the Wonder Woman episode, "The Pied Piper" sung by Martin Mull and was shocked to find that it came from this movie. And what a coincidence to find that both the theme of WW and this song was composed by Charles Fox :).
RETRO FOREVER!

I don't think anyone is losing sleep....except maybe you and Paul Williams.

The instrumental track "The Party" from the One On One soundtrack album was also used in "Oh God, Book II".
