You heard right! Sparky, the PEANUTS creator, had a hand in making "The Mouse And His Child", or his company did, at least. One of his staff members, Warren Lockhart was the executive producer for the film, and at the end it lists Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates as being one of the groups involved in production. I was shocked by this as I watched the entire movie on YouTube today.

Sanrio (the production company for the film) also owns the rights to all the Peanuts licensing in Japan. So I'm not entirely surprised. Neat information though!
