haven't seen it in a loooong time!

i haven't seen this movie since i was 7 or 8 i'm 26 now.i remember 2 parts very well,1st the part when manny is whipping the toy donky & he dies, that especially hit me hard,it was very disturbing, for lack of a better word.2nd is the part when the mouse & his child were underwater & the child sees an old can with a pic of a bulldog on it and he talks about infinity, that was wild.i hope i can get this dvd or vhs tape soon.i would love to have it to watch again, and just to have it.it seems so rare, and i bet if you asked someone random, they woulden't even have heard of this movie.such a rare gem of a film,it's really & truly the epitome of art& expression to me.

It's funny, I remember seeing this movie when I was 4 or 5 (I'm 24 yrs old now)on the Disney Channel ,and loving it. I had completly forgot about it, and about a year ago, for some reason remembered it. I remember the the style and tone of the movie (it being not exactly happy...or for children)...but other then that, nothing about what happens in it...except the Dog on the Can....zooming in through infinity. Because the only scene I could think of was with the dog can, that's all I could tell people. I've asked so many people if they know about it...and no one knows what I'm talking about. You've just confirmed that I WAS actually thinking of the right film. WHY IS THIS NOT AVAILABLE ON DVD!!!!??? It's so good.

SAME HERE! Saw this back in the late 70s when I was about 10. Yeah it does seem much, but I still see it as a children's movie! Searched for this intermittently for a year humming "Tell Me My Name", not knowing either title of the movie and the song. FINALLY found it an hour ago on YouTube. It was WORTH the wait! ;)
