A Day for Eeyore question

Is it true that for the version featured on the friendship edition DVD, they went back and redubbed some of the voices?

The cast listing on the DVD is slightly different. Laurie Main (The Narrator), Hal Smith (Owl, as he had been in the first two "Pooh" shorts, and also Pooh, orig. voiced by Sterling Holloway), and Ralph Wright, John Fiedler, and Paul Winchell (the original voices of Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger) were included, but the names Will Ryan (Rabbit, orig. voiced by Junius Matthews), Kim Christianson (Christopher Robin, orig. voiced by Bruce Reitherman, Jon Walmsley, and Timothy Turner), Julie McWhirter-Dees (Kanga, orig. voiced by Barbara Luddy), and Dick Billingsley (Roo, orig. voiced by Clint Howard, Dori Whitaker) are replaced.

The replacement credits were Jim Cummings (probably Pooh's voice), Tres MacNeille (Kanga), Ken Sansom (Rabbit), Trevyn Savage (Probably Roo or Christopher Robin) and Aaron Spann (Probably Roo or Christopher Robin)
