Winnie the Pooh's wink at the end.

Did anybody as a child find that doll of Pooh bear at the end winking kind of scary?
Think about it.
If a doll was to wink at you in a room with a dark atmosphere, would you be scared?

Who agrees?

Now I find it sort of cool.
But for some reason, as a younger kid- I would say 3 or 5- I found it a bit scary.I don't know why.

When I was a small child, a toddler, I had a stuffed horse that lay across the foot of my bed. It had a sculpted rubber or plastic head. Since it was in profile in relation to me, only one eye was visible from my vantage.

When I'd wake up at night, the light from the hallway or bathroom fell on this head in a surreal way. If someone went to the bathroom, the closing door made the light shift, making the head appear to move!

The one horse-eye that was ALWAYS staring at me would creep me out.

I tell you this to show I understand your reaction to the seemingly inanimate Pooh toy winking--it sort of happened to me for real!

My dolls don't wink at me at night, they're too busy sleeping, duh.

I have the video file of Pooh's wink if anybody wants to see it.:)

I can't remember what I thought of it as a child. But one of the bears my mom used to have really creeped me out (I don't know what happened to it, but the thought of it still creeps me out). Whenever it was after dark, I would feel like that bear was going to come to life and start walking around (and I used to have nightmares where exactly that happened). In fact, we lived in one apartment where my mom's bedroom faced into the kitchen, so whenever I was in the kitchen I could see that bear's profile. I always expected it to turn it's head to me.
