Why does his house say Mr. Sanders?

Because Winnie the Pooh lives in the 100 Acer Woods "under the name of Sanders. Meaning that he had the name over the door in gold letters and he lived under it." Or so it says in the movie. Sense these are stories about a young child playing with is toys, it's probably what Christopher Robin (the real one) thought "living under the name" meant and his father used it in the story... though I don't know where the name Sanders comes from.

The real Christopher Robin used to go play in the forest by a house where he used to go in the summer and stuff. The name sanders was carved into one of the trees so he added it to part of his games. so i guess the author (his father)put it into the books. No one ever found out who sanders was.

Who is ... SANDERS??? To be revealed in the live action prequel to Winnie the pooh!!

Plus the added backstory of trespassers William! Lol

Trespassers William!

The sign says "Trespassers Will". It's broken off. The whole sign would have read, "Trespassers Will Be Prosecuted".

A. A. Milne is the best.

So Trespassers Will isn't the name of Piglet's Grandpa and Piglet is being lied to!? Oh the humanity!
