JUST 1 WOMAN ???

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE FEMALE CHARACTER IN THIS SERIES, AND SHE IS A MOTHER. Kanga is a sweet lady and all, but she's constantly chasing after Roo and cannot fulfill any of her dreams in the hundred acre wood. what makes it worse is that there are so many characters that could easily pass for women, but research will only inform you that they are androgynous men... kanga doesn't even go on any adventures bye

The Winnie the Pooh stories were written in a time where female characters were less prominent than even today. Take a look at the Thomas the Tank Engine stories written in the 1940s and you will notice there are very few female characters.

Rabbit and Piglet should have been female.

THEY SHARE HER.

Can they all fit in her pocket?

Funnily enough I actually for a long time thought Roo was a girl.
