John Steiner's teeth

I saw how bad they were in Tenebrae, but they seem to be on full display here. Those are some crazy teeth, and this guy is/was awesome. Is he still alive? Seeing him previously in Rats [ Yuck! ], Caligula and Tenebrae, i would never have imagined him as one of the most effective villains ever in a Spaghetti Western!
