Poem by Ullman, Samuel, film and 90s' MTV

I like at the beginning of this film, the speach where mcarthy uses ullman's poem,

movie version is:
00:02:56
They give you a temper of the will,
a quality of the imagination,
a vigor of the emotions,
a freshness of the deep springs of life...

I recognized this text due to MTV Europe, in 1993 had a short videos with various writers made into black and white short intermezzo movies, presented during the day. I believe it was taken from american MTV because of american-english accent.

Does anyone remeber this? The words are so beautiful;
"Youth is not a time of life it is a state of mind. It is not a matter of red cheeks, red lips and supple knees. It is a temper of the will; a quality of the imagination; a vigor of the emotions; it is a freshness of the deep springs of life."

They also featured the short bit from Kafka's metamorphosis. it was so cool :D (not like today's teen-celebrity-reality & jack-ass unwatchable garbage)
