There should have been a sequel (Spoilers)

I would have loved to see a sequel of this movie that explains:

1)Tony being the first suspect in Theresa's murder
2)Theresa's family, particularly Katharine's reaction
3)James' reaction and guilt
4)When or If James went on with his life by marrying someone else
5)Gary being caught and sent to prison
6)Little Amy's reaction to her teacher being gone

I think in the hands of the right director this sequel would have been very good.

What do the rest of you think?

Thanks! I will try to locate this movie. I really want to know about the investigation. ☺

I remember seeing this movie (Trackdown: Finding the Goodbar Killer), but I don't think any of the characters in 'Looking for Mr. Goodbar' were in it. Someone said it was based off the book 'Closing Time', but not Looking for Mr. Goodbar.

I saw it, back in 1986.

And in case anyone is unaware, Looking For Mr. Goodbar was based on a real murder case from 1973. Closing Time was non-fiction about the real case and the aftermath.
