Anybody actually catch this in a theater?

I saw it several times in the theater, before I had a VCR and back when movie tickets were affordable. Sunn Classics spent a lot on advertising, which helped pack the theaters for the first week; most of the movies were stinkers and soon word would get around, but they generally raked it in for seven days or so.

Incredibly, my 6th grade class went to see this laughably speculative historical documentary on a field trip!

I watched it in a movie theater in Big Spring, Texas, soon after it came out.
