DVD announced

Universal announced yesterday a new type of releases, similar to the Warner Archives program. Titles are available from a store hosted on Amazon and printed on demand.

"The Last Remake of 'Beau Geste'" is one of the inaugural titles.

So you can expect (if it's close to Warner Archives) DVD-R sold for $18, no special feature and an average transfer, naturally unrestored.

Some other titles announced (Blue Collar, Ruggles of Red Gap, etc.) were also to my eyes worthy of a true DVD release but, apparently, it's something studios can't afford, especially in this economy.

Got mine recently and watched it last night.
There's no menu, no extras, you put the DVD in and the movie plays.
But I don't care because I love that movie to bits and I'm just glad to have it!
It's even funnier than I remembered!

Hi,

Is there any subtitles for the movie? My father wants it, but it would require at least English subtitles.

Thanks in advance!
