Where Can One purchase/see this DVD?

Hey, I've been looking through countless sites for this movie, I've found several copies, but I don't want to pay a load of money for them. I'm a netflix member, but this movie is only available to SAVE and I know that many of the movies i have SAVED have been that way for months, and show no sign of changing into the renting realm. Now, I'm thinking, maybe, just maybe I'm missing out on some particular site that has this DVD for sale at a reasonable price. I've seen that amazon.uk has it for sale, but it's a PAL disc meaning that it won't play on an NTSC DVD player. Can anyone help me out a little bit? Because, I'd really like to see this film, I've been sucessful in procuring all of the other "can't find" films, but this one is stumping me. Anyone offer any assistance, I'd be mighty abliged.

The only versions that seem to be in print are the PAL versions from Britain & Germany. Try eBay, someone will want to part with their set at some point.

Wow, Amazon lists it at around $150 bucks. Glad I bought it a few years ago...

If you have a DVD burner and computer, you could convert it from PAL to NTSC and burn it to another DVD. I've thought about doing that, and I still might. The free software is easy to find, just google it.

Barrel Entertainment seems like a small outfit--their first printing of "Schramm" went out of print and up in value too--though not as much as "LHODES". They have since gone on to a second printing of "Schramm", so maybe they will eventually do the same with "LHODES".

Unless with Roger's death the rights to distribute have lapsed out of their control or something--he was the copyright owner mentioned on one of the title cards, and I read on CD Universe a posting from someone claiming to be Watkins a while back, and this person claimed he was displeased with Barrel for some reason.

Again, I can't confirm this was really Roger, but the words sounded like they came from him to me, judging from the way he talked on the commentary track. I guess you could email Barrel and see if they reply with any plans for a re-release. I almost parted with my copy a while back, I'm glad I didn't...now if I'd only held on to my copy of "Begotten", which is now worth over $100 but which I sold for about $5.00. LOL...

Yeah, I found a copy a little while ago. I have an all region DVD player, so I just went ahead and bought the double disc English copy from Amazon.co.uk

Vinegar Syndrome are currently working on a Blu-ray release. Moreover, this film can be found as a cool Easter egg on their combo DVD/Blu-ray release of Watkins's porn film Corruption.
