The film has just been theatrically re-released and is playing for a short run at the Cinematheque Ontario, here in Toronto. This usually means that a DVD is not far behind.
I don't have info on the DVD. The movie is now showing in Toronto. I went today, Sunday, afternoon. There were two other people there and they left a third of the way through it. That was their loss (or would they see it as a loss?).
This, in it's raw way, is one of the most beautiful and realised movies ever made.
The DVD is on it's way:

shareI dont know what part of australia that you are from but this movie was showing at melbourne on the weekend at acmi at fed square. i believe that the print is travelling around australia so keep an eye out as i went and saw it and it truely is worth watching.
