Who was Mr. Watson, etc.?

Were those just shysters?

From what I gathered when Lillian is trying to find Julia's dau. after Julia passes away, then she goes through the struggles of trying to find Julia's daughter.

She goes to Julia's grandparents' estate & the butler acts like she's a crazy woman.

The problem w/the ending is that it left a MAJOR plot hole.

Whatever happened to Julia's daughter & why the wild goose chase?

It just seemed like the ending forgot to mention what happened to Julia's daughter after Lillian realized that Julia's grandparents' had basically disowned Julia's daughter.
