5.7??
I haven't seen it, but is it really that bad?
Do they have it in Blockbuster?
No, it's not that bad...
it's worse!
Exactly as the above poster said: it was WORSE. I'm surprised that it's not down at the 3 and 4 level. I gave it a 2 and I was being generous.

Jubilee is a brave and beautiful film, watch it and make your own mind up, don't listen to the people slagging it off.
Question: Did you ever hurt yourself to make somebody sorry?
I gave it a 7 rating - it is awkward and poorly acted but it has it's own charm and heart - approach it with an open mind
shareI just watched this last night, mainly because of Adam Ant. I'm only 20, but I am a huge fan. I thought it was going to seriously suck, but I was determined to finish it. There were a lot of things I disliked (too many to mention), but there were scenes I really liked, such as Adam and the (original)Ants performing "Plastic Surgery," Mad performing with the band at the recording studio, and the bingo hall scene.
I was born 10 years after this film was made, so I had to do just as DawnRun suggested: approach it with an open mind.
Well, it's 5.9 now so must be getting better, lol!
I gave it a 7. I wasn't expecting Oscar-winning acting and I'm well and truly old enough to remember the punk era so it brought back some fond memories and I felt compelled to watch to the end.
I thought Toyah, Jordan and Jack Birkett gave particularly memorable performances (I didn't realise he was blind!)
As some other posters have commented, you need to view with an open mind. I feel some of the ones berating this film probably don't understand the meaning.

Jubilee is the best film ever made.
