I can't believe they went to all the trouble to use the same swimming pool and nobody fell in except for Marlo Thomas and Wayne Rogers. And totally anticlimactic (even embarrassing) this time around. They just stood there like two wet ducks. Sad.

It didn't even really make sense in context to what's happening. In IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, the two boys opened the floor hoping George would fall in and embarrass himself. In this film it's just some out of nowhere prank.
