Just watched the blu-ray......

It looks and sounds awesome. Still very amateurish and cheesy but fun. It seem a lot longer than it's 84 minutes. The commentary track was informative, a little bland at times.

Loved the thick nurse running in slow motion through the storage place, I mean "hospital", and out the glass door of the storage place, I mean "hospital". This scene was hilarious as she continued running through the parking lot, followed by a melting hand!

The scene with the old couple was also pretty funny.

From some of the stills on the inside cover, it looks like there were some deleted scenes. It looks like the attack on the nurse was supposed to be more graphic. I didn't go through the extras, not sure if there are any deleted scenes.

Be sure you have a few drinks and some friends over!!!

I also was wondering if there were scenes shot that never made the final film, including (1) the attack on the nurse and (2) the attack on Jonathan Demme's character. The stills on the inside cover and the photo gallery on the bluray suggest this might be the case.

The interview feature with William Sachs and Rick Baker is awesome. Sachs talks about what the film really is about, and Baker gives good details on the effects and a hilarious story about Alex "I'm a star in Italy" Rebar.

Just got my Blu-ray in the mail today. I'm really looking forward to checking this out.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

I rented the Blu-ray the other day, and it is a great transfer! Unfortunately; it's a great transfer of a not-so-great movie. Particularly during the first reel, I felt like I was watching an Ed Wood movie (of course, the opening scenes were filmed by another director).

It showed him bite the nurse when it played Australia in the 70's. I'm not sure about the other stuff.
