The aspect ratio for House is listed on Criterion's website as 1.33:1 - is this the original aspect ratio, or is it cropped? IMDB lists it as 1.55:1, which seems odd.

I was wondering about that too. If the information is correct, then most likely the image will be open matte, and will show more picture on the top and bottom of the image. If not, then hopefully they will correct the information soon.

I couldn't imagine Criterion cropping one of their releases.

What an unexpected release of a classic film. This is now officially the best film they've ever released (though "Dog Star Man" and "Pierrot Le Fou" are up there too). Can't wait!

An episode of Scooby-Doo as directed by Mario Bava? hehe cool description.

Ive loved this film for years but wish they'd of gone with a better cover, this makes it look like a movie about a killer fruit instead of the beautifully shot surreal horror masterpiece that I remember.
