didnt see it myself. really impressed by the movie though, i'd never even heard of it - very enjoyable! And a great theme tune!

This is one of my favourite movies of all time (saw it at a Drive-In when I was a kid!) and I've watched it many many times and never once noticed De Niro. What part were you thinking?

im pretty sure it's not him. if you look on robert de niro's imdb page it doesnt say anything about high anxiety, even uncredited.

That really does not matter.

Check Burt Reynolds', Paul Newman's, James Caan's and a few other's IMDB pages and none of them show Silent Movie in their credits, though they ARE listed among the cast on the Silent Movie page.

When people appear as themselves, and not a character, it is listed under SELF
not under their regular credits. At the top before the credits there will be tabs for writer, director, SELF, etc. Click SELF and you will see the credit for all these people that you say are not credited on their page.

Great point and you have depressed me ;-)

I've been at this IMDB game as long as anyone and I should have known that. Especially at 11:00am on a Monday (i.e. I had not just woken up and still groggy!)

I've watched this movie dozens of times, and if Robert De Niro was in it, I would have noticed.

De Niro was famous enough by the time this was made that I'm sure he'd either be credited, or have a prominent enough cameo that there'd be no question it was him.

Watching it now, did you mean the random suspicious guy at the motel that bumps into him and says "im sorry i didnt see you there". It does look like him but its not him.
