a pre-Indy pre-Han Harrison Ford

I was deeply touched by this film, and thought back to it after seeing "Crystal Skull." A recent college graduate who could have gone to Viet Nam, for some reason it really touched my heart and I told several friends about it.

Then when "Star Wars" came out that summer, I remembered seeing that one guy somewhere before... and is was in "Heroes." Now, thirty years later it makes me want to find it and experience it again.

In "Crystal Skull" when Indy first appeared on the screen, I thought "Wow, Grandpa!"

And then today at the car dealership they were playing "Raiders" on the wide-screen plasma in the waiting room. WOW!

i thought harrison was fantastic in this. a role the world is not used to seeing him play that's for sure

Actually i read Ford saying that he made this movie after Star Wars.

I guess because there was so much post-production on "Star Wars" (effects & stuff), "Heroes" got released first. BTW: Ford had been doing carpentry for movie sets, & this was worked into the film with building the rabbit cages.

This was released after Star Wars, but the same year, '77.
It's a good film which seemed even better the second time I watched it.

I thought Harrison Ford did very well in this film. I liked how they worked his skill as a carpenter into the storyline.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

Ford was excellent as Henry Winkler's happy-go-lucky pal from Vietnam.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

I dimly remember seeing this on TV as a kid. Need to give it a fair shake. Ford has post traumatic stress disorder in this.
