So Where Was The Song...

I was just curious, I've seen people on here talking about their disappointment over why there was no inclusion of the song Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas, but I still haven't seen any reason why the song is listed in the DVD credits, but yet not actually in the film. Why is this? Can someone please tell me?

I understand DVD releases are sometimes put together differently than the original released version of a film, but I would think if the DVD people knew they would not be including the song in this release, they would have edited out the part imposed over the very last scene in the film that says. 'Carry On My Wayward Son' by Kansas provided courtesy of RCA or whoever owned the rights to the tune.

Somebody explain this to me if you can.

Well, I'm just guessing that it was in the original credits of the movie and they were not able to alter that.

The song was originally featured during the last minute of the the movie and continued into the closing credits.

I remember that when I saw this movie in the theatre but when I later saw it on network t.v. they didn't use that song.

It was also on the original HBO release
