Moving From VHS to DVD

When my VHS machine died a few years ago, I moved to DVD (which is how many people probably upgrade). I have purchased very few movies in DVD format that I previously owned in VHS.

However, I did purchase the GD Movie DVD and I must say that for anyone owning the VHS copy with the ability to play DVD, I highly recommend getting a DVD copy. The bonus songs alone are worth the investment. There is a China Cat/I Know You Rider jam that is probably my all time favorite performance of those tunes, audio or video.

Scarlet Begonias is very hot as well. There is a decent Uncle John's Band, too. Plus you get the original movie! :-)

Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

after years of seeing this on VHS, it was pretty cool seeing the pristine DVD.... Then a few years after that, i got the bluray, which was another jump up...

The only downside, the extra features disc of songs on the bluray is not HD.... They must have never went back to re-transfer that particular disc.
