Is this the Grateful Dead movie or the Deadheads movie?

Good movie, but there's too much focus on the 'heads and not enough on the Dead. During the some of the songs they cutaway to the 'heads acting all goofy with their stupid ANNOYING incoherent babbling that I could REALLY could care less about, totally ruining some good renditions of Dead songs. Very distracting! It's like an annoying little toddler jumping up and down begging for attention!

are you kidding? Its practically an entire concert. Yes, there's tons of fans too, but its not like its at the expense of the music. Plus, the fan experience is part of what made that band so special. Did you just want the camera locked in on Jerry's face the whole time?

The problem I have is that it involves TOO MUCH of the fans. A fine example I'm really getting into the Eyes Of The World jam and then suddenly right smack dab in the middle of it, they cut to some whiny little bitch complains that he being filmed and totally RUINS the song!

i understand your point, and know exactly the part you're talking about, but the snippet you DO get, you should be grateful for.... Just like in a real concert, there are distractions, and stuff going on elsewhere. Some fans are really annoying, but it does help serve to paint an overall picture. You've heard Eyes' a million times, so seeing it in its entirety isn't as useful as seeing in within the context of other stuff happening.

And finally, it could very well be that they didn't successfully capture the entire song in a professional manner, hence they were FORCED to cutaway.

You're missing the point. It's not a group of song videos. It's the whole concert experience. Very well done

I have no problem with it everytime I watch it. The fans add to the whole concert feel, giving us the full affect, and besides, its the music that matters most. And Jerry.
