Cinematography? Good?

Just happened to see this amazing movie for the first time, rather incidental. Was taken in immediately, especially by the actors.
Since I had not read anything beforehand, neither being told anything, I immediately thought how lucky to have found this marvel.
And I also thought, if only they had employed a good cinematographer. To me, there isn't much of good cinematography in this film, rather off the shelf, average. And when it is good, it reminds me of Antonioni.

Then I came here and read about the fantastic cinematography. Hmm. Maybe I should look a few more times, though I wouldn't know where.
