I know it was filmed in Chagrin Falls Ohio but is that where the house that it was filmed is located? The house seems to be a real home (interiors) and not a set. Does anyone know? Also where can I get the whole movie on DVD and is The Gathering II as good?
shareyou have to what all of us on here has done, order a VHS copy on E-Bay or Amazon. Don't order a DVD from anybody, I did that and it didn't play properly. You can get a decent copy on VHS format, they are available, just have to search for them.
I did not think the Gathering II was very good.

shareThe home used for exterior and interior shots was the Headmaster's residence of the Hudson Academy in Hudson, Ohio. Hudson, Ohio is about 20 miles southeast of Chagrin Falls. Most film exteriors were shot in Chagrin Falls and a few others in nearby Solon, Ohio.
shareThis answer is six years old, but I feel the need to correct one detail. While it is true that the school is located in Hudson, OH, the school name is not Hudson Academy. The school is called Western Reserve Academy.
shareYes, the Headmasters house in Hudson the Academy is correct. The film included some locals in Hudson as well. Some storefront scenes were also in Hudson, Oh.
There is a few DVD copies out there but the best I have ever seen was a Laserdisc
