that song at the beggining is the most annoying song in the world. The cartoon mind u is no better. i dunno y they just didnt do the credits at the end and not put that ugly song in. it was like barbie or something.

Well, to each his own--but I think you're in the minority.
Especiallly among those who saw this on TV years ago, or perhaps even in the theatre. You have to remember this was made with kids in mind--moreso than the 2003 remake. And the opening reflects that.
