Looking for a creepy opening to a family film from the 60s or 70s

I remember a movie that had an opening where some red paint is moving along some car in a garage and then it gets on a man and he screams and it looks like he has blood on him. Not sure what movie it was but it might have been one of the Herbie films. I think it was from either the late 60s or the 70s. Does anybody remember the name of that movie? I think I might have saw it on the Disney Channel back in the 90s when I was a kid.
