DVD

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this film? I saw it during its re-release in '02, and I haven't been able to find it anywhere since. I'm dying to see it again.

All I have found so far is a US VHS copy from Icarus for a cool $495. There is a DVD of it on the French Amazon site for a normal price but I'm not sure if that includes an English language alternative. Does anyone know?

I checked French amazon site and they only have in paper form, not DVD:(

This movie was presented for the first time in UK in Barbican Center on Wednesday (Apr 23, 2008) but I could not go, I checked out with teh organisers and was told that no DVDs have yet been released but they will eb released soon (approximately May-08) by French company Scarus (with English subtitles).

So I suggest waiting or you can check out directly with those organisers through email they gave me [email protected] or their website http://www.palestinefilm.org.

Thanks Olessia – do you know the website address for Scarus?

reply

The company is Icarus, not Scarus. Unfortunately, the film is listed only as VHS and is very expensive:

(Those so inclined can find a torrent of this film (or at least a 2-hour version) if they search for it.)
