On TCM

It's on this Tuesday night on Turner Classic Movies. I'm going to DVR it and keep it as long as I can. Hope other fans of this movie see my post in time!

I flagged it with a "reminder" and stayed up and watched the entire movie. Hadn't seen it for a very long time...but I remembered it very well. Loved Cat Stevens' song, too!

Nice to see that I'm not the only fan...

If you have Amazon Prime you can stream it for free.

Nice to see rarely screened films like this one show up on TCM...

But was disappointing they didn't get a widescreen print.

What a gem! Really enjoyed this and the added bonus was the beautiful music of Paul Williams... see link.

Didn't see the post in time but I scan TCM schedule every week. Took notice of the two stars in the cast and DVR'd it. Knew nothing about it.

Just watched it for the first time a few days ago. Very good, very realistic depiction. Thank goodness for TCM or I'd never hear of some of these forgotten gems. Caught another good one "Last Summer"(1969) a few years ago on that network. It was an edited version but still a terrific movie. (Seeked and found an uncut version soon after)
